This Girl is on Fire: OOTD

Okay so something VERY exciting for me happened this week! I had my interview yesterday at an export facility for the position as a receptionist. The interview went well and actually the conversation flowed quite naturally.
A couple hours after my interview the lady who interviewed me called and asked if I could go back tomorrow at the same time. AND I WAS SO WORRIED OMG I was just like please don’t let it be another interview with one of the other bosses. So I had been freaking out since noon yesterday.
So right, I went in this morning and she said that she was offering me the position! Also that that she was very impressed with me the day before! So she gave some paperwork I have to fill out along with a company handbook that I have to read. I had to take her the forms the next day and get sent for a drug test. I start on Tuesday! I’m so so so excited! Even more so that I didn’t have to go through a string of jobs as a like a waitress or in retail to get a good job and a grown up one! (ask anyone I won’t shut up about how I HAVE A GROWN UP JOB)
I’ll have a probation period of 60 days. I’ll be doing reception/front desk/any other projects they need me to work on. It’s an 8-5 job +weekends at $9.00 an hour. I’m super excited and this is what I wore to the interview that changed the direction of my life!

Child of Destiny: OOTD

Well this was my Superbowl outfit this year! As you can clearly see I was root for the Ravens! I may be a California girl but I definitely not a 49ers fan! The game was really great especially towards the end. I had no idea which was it was gonna go! It was really hilarious because half of my family for cheering for the 49ers and the others for the Ravens. (as always there were a few flip floppers throughout the game, DAD!) So there was definitely a lot of trash talking! And of course how could I forget Beyonce? AMAZING HALFTIME PERFORMANCE! Talk about girl power!

Something that is always so mind blowing to me is the weather in different places. Like how it's snowing where my boyfriend is right now but in California I'm already pulling out shorts because it's heating up like no one's business! This outfit was really just thrown together. I've had this top for a year and half, these shorts for about a year (thrifted!) and these shoes, woooowwwwwww for 3 years now. There's just some items that I have trouble parting with!
