Oh, and HELLO to my new followers, it makes me happy to know a few people are listening to me rant and ramble and I will definitely definitely be posting more as school calms down.

Superbowl Sunday

Alright, so I'm no football fan. Actually I couldn't be more relieved that the season is finally over, that means baseball season is right around the corner. I couldn't tell you the first thing about football. I know they have to get the ball across the yellow line, a touchdown is good and a field goal is usually after the touchdown. But I'm not here to talk sports. This is a beauty and fashion blog, so that's what I'll show you. Even thought I'm not a football fan, I do always choose a side. The last time the steelers were in a superbowl, I rooted for them, mostly because their colors are aesthetically pleasing, and I will admit this year I was rooting for them because I've never been one to root for the underdogs, and of course the song, Black and Yellow, helped a little too.

So, I was a little disappointed that the Steelers lost, I thought for sure they would kick ass, but it's ok, like I said, I just want baseball season to start :)

So here is my make-up, step by step, and my outfit:)

Oh, and in case you missed the half-time show, it was sick :)

Happy Tuesday:)

Crystal Renn: Always an Inspiration to Me

Ever since I discovered who Crystal Renn was, and ever since I learned her story, she's been an inspiration. No, she may not be "plus-sized" anymore, which is a reason a lot of people, particularly plus sized women, looked up to her. Because she was a plus-sized woman, a successful
plus sized women making a place for herself in the world, and making a statement that you didnt need to be a size zero to be successful. No she may not be plus sized anymore, but that doesnt mean that she's not an important icon to fuller women, but to women in general. She is, she's not only an important icon to the fashion world but to the world in general.

I honestly do believe she speaks the truth. Health is different for every single person. No one person can tell someone else that they are not healthy. Im sick of people looking at a women and stating that their "bashing" is not to hurt anyones feelings, but just to make a point that someone is unhealthy. WHEN THEY DONT KNOW YOU AT ALL.

The media is a big reason we feel pressured to fit a certain standard that they have set for us. Well, NEWS FLASH not all women want to be thin. And its no one's business how you feel about your body, no one can say wether you are healthy or not. Love you body, and if you want to change it, make sure your doing it for you. If you spend your life trying to please other people, you'll never be happy.

just my two cents
