A Make-Up Post + Update

Hey everyone,
Well, I know that I've been M.I.A. for a little while and lagging it on keeping up with posting comments and reading blogs, SORRY! But this last week sort of kicked my ass. On Tuesday I had to go to the podiatrist and get a little surgery done which I had been dreading since I had the appointment since my mom had the same surgery and told me it hurt like hell! So I was really scared.. (She's a pansy it wasn't even that bad LOL) but anyways so I felt really out of it for a few days and when I started to feel better I was spending my time doing homework for classes that I should have done over the break but of course didn't, but I had spent less time on here. AND I was gonna make this post a few days ago before my internet messed up! Turns out as I was going through my programs and uninstalling things I didn't need and I uninstalled something by accident and it kept my internet from connecting so that really sucked especially since I didn't know what was wrong with it until I finally just gave up and restored it but at least I have a connection now :)

SOOOOOO, this post wont be very exciting, like I said I wasn't really in the mood for anything this week so I didn't take any outfit pictures. So these are a few make-up looks, some have been posted on here and others probably not. I should have an outfit post soon, hope you enjoy :)

Superbowl Sunday

Alright, so I'm no football fan. Actually I couldn't be more relieved that the season is finally over, that means baseball season is right around the corner. I couldn't tell you the first thing about football. I know they have to get the ball across the yellow line, a touchdown is good and a field goal is usually after the touchdown. But I'm not here to talk sports. This is a beauty and fashion blog, so that's what I'll show you. Even thought I'm not a football fan, I do always choose a side. The last time the steelers were in a superbowl, I rooted for them, mostly because their colors are aesthetically pleasing, and I will admit this year I was rooting for them because I've never been one to root for the underdogs, and of course the song, Black and Yellow, helped a little too.

So, I was a little disappointed that the Steelers lost, I thought for sure they would kick ass, but it's ok, like I said, I just want baseball season to start :)

So here is my make-up, step by step, and my outfit:)

This is just a matte black I put on my whole lid then winged out the shadow just for fun
the eyes shadow is from Revlon but I dont remember the exact name :s

This was inspired by an image I saw in Glamour Magazine, I read Glamour for a couple years but I felt like their fashion was too... old? mature? motherly?
I dont know but I was inspired by this picture



The next one is just a really subtle everyday eye, I used a soft gold eye shadow and used a black smokey accent on the outer corner
