With my Parents

With my Grandmothers
Needless to say, this past weekend was my commencement. I don't officially graduate till the middle of June because that's when I will have finished my last requirement, but I was able to take part in the ceremony thanks to my counselor. I really only went through the ceremony for my family, I knew it would be a big deal for them, but it wasn't really for me. When I graduated high school I cried and was emotion and all that crap but I think it was because I partly didn't believe I would graduate and partly because of my friends. I'm not friends with anyone from high school anymore so it doesn't really matter to me anymore. Any who, due to being an introvert and lacking skills to deal with social situations, I didn't make any friends in college. It's honestly completely fine with me because a lot of the people there my age were the same douchebags from high school. Like I said, the ceremony wasn't emotional for me whatsoever. It was, however, a great excuse to buy a great dress.

I bought this beauty at Torrid a week or so before the ceremony. I only tried on one other dress before putting this one on. I knew instantly that it was THE ONE.
Price: $68.50
Mine is a size 16, but I think I should've gone down a size because by the end of the ceremony it was all droopy and loose. My mom suggested before we bought it that I get a size smaller, but I was adamant that the 16 was okay. If anything I can get this baby taken in. :)
p.s.
I'm graduation with my AA in Social Science ;)
