Top can be seen in this post
My jeans are from fallas paredes and my flats are plain black from wal-mart :)

Hey Everyone! Guess who starts school soon? This girl! It's my last full semester at the college I'm currently attending. I start classes on Tuesday. This semester I'm taking Health, 2 PE classes and an English class. I'm only a part time student now because the other English class I need to take (which I will during the Summer intersession) can't be taken at the same time as my current English class. So I will be going through the graduation this semester then being an official graduate this summer with an Associate's in Social Science!
After that I believe I will moving to, or commuting back and forth to San Diego where I will be a student at the Art Institute majoring in Fashion Business. If there are any of you who have gone to or attend the Art Institute I'd love to hear about your experience!

Stay Lovely,

A Thrify Haul

Recently I've been thrifting. I'm so happy I've picked it up again, I used to go thrifting all the time but stopped for some reason. These are some things I've scored lately. Great finds if you ask me.

Forever 21 DREAM outfit :) + HAUL

quick little post before I go out

Photobucket

I love everything about all of this, especially the paris necklace
All of these items are available on the Forever21 website,
I havent gone to F21 in a few weeks so I havent checked if everything is available in stores
But I definately think these items are worth the buy.
One rule I live by is that if I'm going to wear a monotoned outfit I need to have at least ONE pop of color and stick to that ONE color, because you dont want to look like you crashed into a rainbow :s
I have similar boots to the giddyap, almost identical except that the heel on mine are a little more cowgirl looking :)

HAUL TIME

So this haul is just a few things from Walmar and The Dollar Tree

Photobucket
First, is this foundation from Wet n Wild, it is their Ultimate Match with SPF15 and is in the shade "Bisque" ($4.98)

Photobucket

Next are these three brushes that I bought individually by On-The-Go Beauty
(from left) A retractable brush ($4.97)
An eye shading/applicator duo ($1.98)
A foundation/concealer brush ($4.93)

Photobucket
I also got this TRESemme Thermal Creations, which is a spray heat tamer that I saw Heart from Thatsheart (a Youtube hair and make-up guru)use. So I just wanted to try it out because Im always trying to use different hair protectors that NEVER work.($3.84)

Next couple items are from the Dollar Tree

Photobucket
This is L.A. Colors auto eyeline in black
I try finding good cheap liners so I dont spend $7 on an eyeliner that will last me a week

Photobucket

Next I got this French Manicure Set that comes with 3 little polishes in
clear, white, and light pink. Im not gonna use it to give myself a french tip or anything I just liked the colors in the little trio.

I tried the pink and the color dries as the color ...idk I guess underneath your nail, like a skin toned pink, so its really good if you like subtle or natural colors on your nails (both $1, duh:)

OOTD: plus a quick haul!

So I use my cell to take pics so that means that yes, the quality sucks :(

Photobucket

The purple t-shirt is from Forever21 and I think that it cost $5
The unbuttoned blouse I'm wearing over it is something I found while shopping in my moms closet. Its from Torrid but I have no idea how old it is.

Which reminds me, I was at the mall in SD today and I went to Torrid and, of course went straight to their clearance section. I dont even know how they can call those prices clearance, maybe half that price but that is just ridiculous. And must it be that EVERYTHING in the clearance section is all fashions from last year. Give me (and my wallet) a break. There was one cute top I found there, but after I decided it was ridiculously overpriced I walked out.

Photobucket

These shredded jeans are a great buy that I found at Burlington Coat Factory for $12.99. Although I do have to say that the stubborn zipper did break not long after the purchase but the rips are still to die for so I still wear them.

Those flats are from Wal-mart
they were $9 dollars, they are all black with a sequin trimming, and I DO believe they're still selling them.

HAUL!!!!:quick and cheap:)

So the other day I went to the Dollar Tree, where I found these L.A. Colors, nail polishes for a dollar each!

Photobucket

I got these three, the first one is "bright pink"
The second is Phenomina (?)
and the third is electrified

Photobucket

I am currently wearing the purple looking one in the middle :)
Im very please with the color and coat:)

Ok, so today I went to the Salvation Army in SD, where I saw this ADORABLE
creme laced mini, I checked the tag to see the size and If I could queeze my rather large but into it. and just to my luck! it said ONE SIZE FITS ALL, I smiled, I knew that my size was not included in that range of ONE SIZE FITS ALL, so after saying my goodbyes to that potentially great skirt, I settled on this one :)

Photobucket

It has a black background, purple roses and feathers, and teal feathers, its a size large($5.99) so I decided that I will make it fit!!!

And here are the results:

Photobucket

I decided I wouldnt be able to squeeze it on from the ground up I tried entering thru the attic which was just as difficult seeing as for some reason my chest decided to be TOO BIG, but after a short struggle I was able to work it :)
p.s. that top is from a $5dollar store but the brand is Charlotte Russe

Which brings me to my next subject, after agrily stomping out of TOrrid, I marched on over to Charlotte Russe, where I never thought I'd ever in a million years would shop. Me being... well me, I headed toward the clearance section (50% OFF CLEARANCE ITEMS AT CHARLOTTE RUSSE NOW!) where I found two adorable tops

Photobucket

Ok, so this is more like a dress than a top but still, it reaches about midthigh on me, its a racerback and also has two cute pockets on the side
Original price: $16.00
I paid: $4.99

And this one:
Photobucket

This is a pale pink tank, also a racerback, and it has THE cutest little gold jewels polka dotted all over it :)
Original Price: $12.50
I paid: $4.99

Not too shabby at all :)
